NaNoWriMo!

So, I don't know how I found time to write this blog post (I'm not procrastinating! NEVAR!) but I did, and I'm almost halfway there. I have 1704 more words until I get to 25,000, and by today I was supposed to have 40,000 words, so I'm doing GREAT! I'm only 16704 words off!

*headdesk*

Why do I procrastinate so much?

Anyway, I think I know what I'm getting most of my family for Christmas. Or at least what I want to get them.

OH MY GOSH I CANNOT BELIEVE I FORGOT ABOUT THANKSGIVING. AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH.

Yeah. So today's Thanksgiving, and my two older brothers came home. My oldest and younger are in the family room playing a basketball game on the wii. My second oldest is gone somewhere, probably with Lindsey. We had ham, turkey, cranberry sauce, dressing, sweet potato casserole, and three pies. For six people. Can we say overkill?

I mean, food is good and everything, but I would be fine with sweet potato casserole, ham and one pie. Thanksgiving is supposed to be about being thankful to whatever you want to be thankful for. You can be thankful the God made you, or you could be thankful for Mother Earth. Whatever you believe in is what you're thankful for.

What I'm saying is that Thanksgiving is centered on food or football a lot of the time. I'm not saying that you shouldn't enjoy that stuff, just don't lose sight of the bigger picture like a lot of people do.

With that said, I guess I should go write. Here's a word count widget.

This is Halloween!

Halloween is a time to have fun, dress up, and do one thing that you'd never ever do any other day of the year- take candy from strangers. :D

Well, since apparently nobody wants to take me trick-or-treating for the first time evar, I guess I'll just have to go to the Reformation Day party. I don't wanna sound mean, but that sounds a bit boring.

By the way, I've never been trick or treating. Forreal. So yeah.

I'm kinda sad now. My friend won't answer me, and my other friend isn't on facebook. So yeah.

Today's been kinda blah.

EDIT: I was right, the Reformation Day party wasn't even really a party. There was food and games and all, but that doesn't make a party a party. And I didn't get any candy. Well, besides the bit of candy corn and 4 caramel squares, I got nothing. So this has been a craptastic day.

2 DAYS UNTIL NANOWRIMO!

In case you don't know what NaNoWriMo is, it stands for National Novel Writing Month. Basically, it's when a bunch of crazy people attempt to write a 50,000 word novel in a month. So don't expect too many blog posts from me in November.

Also, I went to see The Avett Brothers last night!!!!!!!! There was a drunk lady dressed as a taco, for Halloween, I guess. But anyway, Taco was dancing. And her boyfriend was drunk too, and they were being all crazy and hugging and jumping up and down and everything.
